Franks Story
Remembrance Day, 2016
In collaboration with Twine we developed a 360 experience where Frank Mouqué, a Second World War Veteran, returned to a French town he helped liberate. This experience allowed Frank to immerse in an environment and see the world through someone else’s eyes.
Now a Chelsea Pensioner at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, Mr Mouqué was shown a virtual reality experience that enabled him to see and hear from the community of Armentierés without leaving his home. He received an official medal from the town’s mayor. Frank’s overwhelmed reaction demonstrated that virtual reality allows for a powerful communication that defies distance.
